This project started in 2013 with the seemingly simple idea of coming up with a range of road cycling routes that would inspire people to get on their bikes and ride them. As with many things in life, this project has had to fit round work, family and church, but we got there in the end!
The maps that accompany each route have been custom designed so as to fit on one sheet of A4 (to fold up into your cycle jersey), print in black and white and have just enough information to be useful. Each route has a text summary of the key points to help you visualise it. If you prefer to use a GPS for your route then we have created a Strava route as well, that can be download onto a Garmin GPS. The plan going forwards is to add to the routes as well as blog about all aspects of road cycling in the New Forest and beyond.
We hope you enjoy!
Allez!

Hi, are you planning to offer some off-road cycle routes as well? I have a few to add to the mix…

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the suggestion, it’s definitely something to look at.
Would be a case of adapting the maps for the off-road routes as well.
