This is probably the page you are wanting to see! On this page you will find all our current routes and maps. The aim of this site is to inspire you to explore the New Forest by bike, we think it's the best way!
To make it as easy as possible for you to get out and get going there are now a range of options to access the routes. Each route has a PDF map to download (from 2016 onwards, the pdf maps include a cue sheet). In addition to this, there are GPS files that can be downloaded in order to add to your GPS device.
We value any feedback on how we can improve our maps, so do let us know if you see an error or think we can do something better.
The routes are split into three categories:
- Road - The whole route is on the road - suitable for any bike.
- Road and Gravel - Most of the route is on the road with a few off-road gravel sections. Bikes with tyres from 24mm upwards recommended.
- Gravel - Large sections of the route will be on gravel tracks, though roads will also feature. Recommend gravel, cross, hybrid or mountain bike for these routes.
