My Ride - Phil Glasgow

June 23, 2017

Who are you and what do you do?

Hi, I’m Phil Glasgow. I’m the ‘Routes co-ordinator’ and Lezyne Angel at ukcyclingevents – Dad of 2 fab girls and proud husband of Jules.

What bike(s) do you ride?

Genesis Tarn and Croix de Fer take on the off and on/gravel duties as well as the bikepacking adventures.

Favourite route to ride?

Mudeford Quay and back from home – The Sierra Nevada Trail in Southern Spain.

What was your first bike?

Kona Cindercone bought in 1989 was my first ‘proper’ bike

Best bit of kit and why?

Endura shorts – the one area that has to be right!

What’s your dream bike?

If Genesis could rustle up a titanium Tarn and Sram got on and made an mtb version of Etap we’d be close – Hope Technology for hubs, brakes headset etc and some Jones bars in carbon too!
